Bones in the Canyon Case: Update on evidence

March 1, 2010 by

Attention Daniel, Brendan, Josh and Lachlan,

For the two murder scenarios, we found the skull at the scene with a hole in the top. There was also a rock with blood at the crime scene which would probably mean that he was killed or injured due to the hit on the head. We will go with this for the scenarios about the murder scene.

Bones in the Canyon: Footprints

February 24, 2010 by

Attention boys,

I was looking through the footprint evidence and saw that there were 3 work boot prints and the other one seemed to be a gym shoe or runner. Ben Archer frequently went to the university gym and walked his dog 2-3 times a week. I don’t know if the footprint is a print of when he found the bones or if he is a suspect in the case.

Reno Police: Bones in Canyon Case- Scenarios

February 24, 2010 by

Attention boys,

We have almost completed the scenarios for the presentation on FRIDAY. Our first scenario is a murder where John Doe was murdered at the lumber yard by one or more people and then they brought him to the canyon. The second scenario is an accident where he might’ve fallen and hit his head on a rock which would explain the hole in his head. What do you think?

Good luck with your speeches.

Bones in the Canyon Case: Missing person

February 23, 2010 by

Attention boys,
I think that the John Doe is the missing person #1. The movie theatre editor who never made it home- biker. I think this because it was found that he had previously broken his arm years ago which could be from falling off the bike. He also had strain on his wrists which could be from holding the handlebars and absorbing the force each time he rode.
